Food Waste - Solution for its Valorization
Food waste is a serious reality, from production, through distribution to waste in consumption itself.
This theme led us to explore how the FREETILIZER process could be an asset, not only minimizing the environmental impact, promoting sustainability, but also making the process profitable. This project made it possible to understand the scope of the application of enzymes and their effectiveness in this type of by-products.
As a result, the process is carried out in a reactor with thermochemical variables control, which makes it possible to exponentiate the action of the enzymatic complex, allowing the treatment and recovery process to take place in 24-hour cycles, thus guaranteeing savings in time and space, elimination of costs with the management of by-products and generation of value through the production of organic fertilizers and bases for animal feed, in a process that is also energy efficient.
