COURSE NAME
Level 2 Training in Tungsteen Inert Gas Welding with Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel (TIG)
TRAINING AREA

GENERAL PURPOSE
At the end of the training course, the trainee must have acquired the theoretical notions and practical skills suitable to the TIG welding process in 4G and 5G positions.
ADDRESSEES
This action is intended for all those who already have basic TIG (downhand and horizontal) welding capacities and wish to progress to welding vertically and overhead.

- Basic Principles of the Welding Process;
- Symbology applied to welding and its interpretation;
- Hygiene and safety in the welding process;
- Welding parameters and their regulation;
- Qualification standard for welders - EN 287-1;
- Prevent welding defects;
- Welding practices on plate, vertical and overhead;
- Methods of control and identification of defects.

COURSE NAME
Level 3 Training in Inert Gas Tungsten Welding with Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel (TIG)
TRAINING AREA

GENERAL PURPOSE
At the end of the training action, the trainee must have acquired the theoretical notions and practical skills suitable for the TIG welding process in 6G position.
SPECIFIC PURPOSE
Understanding the principles of TIG welding;
Knowing how to perform pipe welds vertically and at 45?;
Identifying major defects in welds and knowing ways of avoiding them.
ADDRESSEES
All those who already dominate the various positions of sheet metal welding and intend to evolve to welding piping.
